Not possible as by radiator #3 he'd have to already sacrifice his internet subscription. Bandit would be wearing a barrel with straps by #4!

What's going on with them? Leaking? Fitment? Weren't you talking about the little rubber insulator seats where the tank edges sit a while back and how 2 and 4 cores had different sizes, etc?

Years ago I had a car I was racing, an Olds Delta 88. The shroud was busted from some front end collisions and I couldn't keep it cool... so I pulled the heater core, ran those hoses back to the trunk and hung an old VW Rabbit radiator (with built-in electric fan) back there, and would flip a switch to turn the fan on during the race. It worked! No more overheating!
edit - found a pic: the "Sherman Tank"

The original '81 rad is getting old and I wanted an alumnium one. The first one was only 1 core and the seller said it was 4 core. The second and third ones I purchased were out of stock and the seller didn't know it. The 3rd one was 3" too narrow. Keep in mind, all the rads I tried to buy were all advertised they were 4 core aluminum radiators that were made to fit my car.

Ahh - sometimes they are "4 cores wide" like the old 4 core, but really they are 1 very wide core. We have a 5 core copper radiator in my brother's '69 we will probably move to my '73.

Who knew sourcing a rad would be so hard? Emma is hardly a unicorn.

Finding a rad isn't hard. Finding a rad within my budget is hard

Hrm, yea. Well, were this 1984 instead of 2014, I'd say stake out some junkyards, but, yea.
Come to think of it, I've yet to see a Trans-Am of any type in TTAC's excellent " Junkyard Finds ". I'm positive the author would do a feature on it were he to come across one, but he hasn't. Most were scrapped long ago and what few remain are Garage Queens or works-in-progress.

Also, I've found aluminum radiators are rarely a 'clean fit' in the OEM tank rubbers. The tanks are done very differently. Sloppy but we ended up slicing up the OEM rubber holders when we did aluminum, and had to find new ones when we went back to copper.
FWIW copper cools better than aluminum (better heat transfer), the only reason to do aluminum is to save on weight. So if you are worried about running hot stick with copper! If you are worried about weight, go aluminum.
